Policy on Substitution

Fresh Flowers: We committ to delivering your important emotional messages on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of how flowers grow, when they bloom, and where they grow, it is sometimes necessary to use other flowers of equal or greater value. We will do everything we can to keep the arrangement’s “look and feel” by keeping in mind its overall shape, size, style, and colour combinations. In arrangements with only one type of flower, the type will be more important than the colour. For example, if a customer wants yellow daisies, they won’t get yellow daisies. Instead, they’ll get another colour of daisies. White and cream roses, as well as peach and pink roses, can be use in place of each other. White orchids may need to be swapp out for purple and pink orchids, and vice versa.

Plants: Similar plants of equal or greater value can be use in place of green and flowering plants. For plants that are one of a kind, like orchids, we will do our best to match the plant type, but we may have to switch to a different colour. The plant pots will be as close together as possible.

Gift baskets: If necessary, items in a basket can be switch out for ones of greater or equal value to ensure freshness and on-time delivery.

Substitutions for Special Occasions: Because it’s important to deliver orders for funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries on specific days, we may make a substitution of equal or greater value if the flowers you ordered aren’t available and we can’t reach you at the phone number(s) or email address(es) you gave us.

Plan for delivering

Specific Times: We can’t promise delivery at a certain time, but we can usually get orders to you within four hours. When you order, you can put a time frame in the “Special Instructions” box, and we will do our best to meet your needs.

If No One is Home: If the recipient isn’t home when the gift is deliver, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place, like with a neighbour, for the recipient to pick up when they return, or they may leave a message telling the recipient to call to set up delivery.

In some cases, the florist may call the recipient to make sure he or she will be home to accept the delivery.

Request to Leave Item at Door: The customer is responsible for anything that goes wrong with a request to leave an item at the door. We strongly discourage special instructions for delivery to a doorstep, porch, yard, or any other place where the recipient can’t accept the arrangement themselves. Due to this special request, we can’t be held responsible for missing or broken items.

THE “Ramo Buchon IS THE NEWEST FLOWER TREND TO KNOW ABOUT. IT FLOWERS, SPARKLES, AND COSTS $300.

When Araceli Castellón, the owner and founder of Victoria’s Garden in Anaheim, got the first DM, it caught her off guard. The request: a Ramo Buchon. She knew what the word meant but didn’t know much about it. So, she went to the #ramobuchon rabbit hole on Tiktok to get ideas.

“My first thought was, ‘Wow, that’s huge!'” Castellón tells L.A. TACO. She had been in the floral design business for close to 27 years and thought she had seen everything. However, even she was impress by the grand gesture her client wants to give his wife.

Jenny 69, the first “buchona babe,” made the buchón style popular on social media, and it can be described as a mix of Sinaloan and gaudy Rodeo Drive: rich, flashy, a little bit chunti, a little bit chic. European luxury worked well with the indoor swap meet without trying to hide it. Even though buchonismo can come close to making women into objects, it is more rancho than raunch, with traditional courting rituals that go back to Mesoamerican cultures.

The owner of OC Beverly Flowers in Santa Ana, California, Kristine Cao, says that Mexican men spend a lot of money on flowers. “They like flowers with lots of colours, especially red ones. Roses in red.” Cao’s high-end floral design business has customers from all over the world, and each group has different tastes in floral design. Even though she had never heard of a Ramo Buchon, she sells a popular arrangement of 100 roses wrapped in paper for $530 that looks a lot like one.

Flowers as a way to show love have definitely gotten more popular because of social media. Giving flowers is no longer a private thing. It is now also a public performance that is seen as a way for a man to move up in society. It’s become as much about how their lives have gotten better as it is about how they feel about each other. And the Ramo Buchon, which is popular on Instagram and TikTok, is the latest trend in flower-giving rituals.

Downtown Los Angeles has been a place for Latino flower trends for a long time. For example, not too long ago, it seemed like every flower shop in the area was selling the ramo bichon, which is a bouquet of white mums or carnations shaped like a Bichon dog and was inspired by a different kind of boujee bitch.

But the trend is more important and boujee these days. “Oh, yeah, a lot of people have called and asked for these. Evelyn from Nikky’s Flowers near The Original Los Angeles Flower Market said, “It’s what’s popular right now.” “We make Ramo Buchon of all sizes, and just recently we made one with 600 roses.”

On average, Ramo Buchon cost $300. The price is based on how many roses there are, which is also part of their status. Castellón says that you should never guess what someone is willing to pay. “When trying to win over the woman in their life, many men don’t hold back. Or get out of the dog house,” she said with a laugh.

Boujee bouquets became very popular on Instagram a few years ago when La Fleur Bouquets in Los Angeles came up with a style of tightly packed roses in a box. People like the Kardashians and people around them liked their arrangements right away.

The successful business was started by Hagar Elaziz. Bouquets of flowers that have been kept alive for a long time can sell for close to $2,000 just through Instagram marketing. Soon after the app came out in 2015, celebrities and influencers started posting pictures of modern, lush arrangements.

This started a new floral trend and made posting pictures of those arrangements an important ritual.

Even though it was inspired by the Le Fleur trend, the Ramo Buchon style can’t just be called “boujee.” The buchón can be recognised by the dome-shaped rose bouquet that is tightly packed and has no greenery.

It is also decorated with rhinestones, gold butterflies, and sometimes a small crown. Most of the time, they are wrapped in fancy paper with logos that look like those of Chanel, Louis Vuitton, or Gucci.

How the ramo is given is also important, and both the giver and the receiver often post about the event on social media. The person who gave the ramo usually posts a photo of it in the passenger seat of their car on the way to the recipient’s house. The person who got the ramo usually posts a photo of themselves posing with their backside to the camera and the big flower arrangement over their shoulder, showing off the curves of both.

On average, Ramo Buchon cost $300. The price is based on how many roses there are, which is also part of their status. Castellón says that you should never guess what someone is willing to pay. “When trying to win over the woman in their life, many men don’t hold back. Or get out of the dog house,” she said with a laugh.

The customer who had ordered the Ramo Buchon thanked her a few days later. He said that his wife was happy with the plan. He also said that some of his friends had asked for the contact information so they could get their own Ramo Buchon for their ladies. And when Castellón posted a video of the ramo on Instagram with the song “La Buchona” by Chuy Lizárraga playing in the background, several women said, “I want one!”
