Luke Cunningham Wilson is a well-known American actor who was born on September 21, 1971. He is best known for his roles in the films Bottle Rocket (1996), Rushmore (1998), My Dog Skip (2000), Legally Blonde (2001), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Idiocracy (2006), You Kill Me (2007), The Skeleton Twins (2014), Meadowland (2015), and Brad’s Status (2017), among others.
His full name is Luke Cunningham Wilson. Casey Kelso on That ’70s Show (2002–2005), Levi Callow on Enlightened (2011–2013), and Pat Dugan / S.T.R.I.P.E. on Stargirl (2020–22) were some of the roles he played on television. He is the brother of Andrew Wilson and Owen Wilson, both of whom are actors.

Wilson was the youngest of three sons to be born in Dallas to Robert Andrew Wilson (1941–2017), an advertising and television executive, and his wife Laura (née Cunningham; born 1939), a photographer. Robert Andrew Wilson died in 2017, and Laura Cunningham Wilson was born in 1939. His family has Massachusetts as their place of origin, and they are of Irish Catholic background.
St. Mark’s School in Texas was attend by all three of the Wilson sons when they were younger. Owen claims that during Luke’s first year at St. Mark’s, he was elected to serve as the president of his class. While he was attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, he developed an interest in performing on stage.

Wilson’s acting career got its start in 1994 when he played the lead role in the short film Bottle Rocket, which was directed by Wes Anderson and co-written by his older brother, Owen, and himself, Wes. In 1996, a new version of the story was filmed as a full-length motion picture.After coming to Hollywood with his two brothers, he was cast in Telling Lies in America with Calista Flockhart and made a cameo role in the film-within-the-film of Scream 2, both of which were released in 1997.
